This is easier to use than NiN^_^NiN's Nes-on-a-Chip diagram. Zenocha has traced the pinout for his Mega Joy, one of the various pirate famicons out there that use the Nes-on-a-Chip. Though this pinout might not work with every pirate version, this is a good place to start.

Please note that the NES on a chip for the Super Joy III will NOT use the pinout on your site, and may even fry the NOAC.

Here are the plans on how to make a portable NES using a NES-on-a-chip found in a tristar/super 8. I have gone over these plans to make sure I didn't make any errors and everything is correct. I have also gotten help from Kevin Horton (http://tripoint.org/kevtris/) with a few address lines i didnt know.

Now Kevin was the guy who put an nes-on-a-chip into a sega nomad so he could play his fav games away from the tv set. I only made this so he doesn't get bugged by people asking him to build 1 or tell someone how to make it.

Now the plans are very simple all you have to do wire the chip exactly as i have show on the link below.

I have also included plans for a reset switch. This really isn't needed, but you need it to save games such as zelda, which require you to reset your machine.
